We always amp up the scare factor by using real people's real fears, and this year we're using YOUR recurring nightmares. WHO'S WHO
TIMOTHY HASKELL (creator/director) Timothy Haskell (Creator/Director/Sound Design)) recently directed the Off-Broadway hits The Jaded Assassin, Fatal Attraction: A Greek Tragedy starring Corey Feldman at the Classic Stage Company and the Paris Hilton spoof, I Love Paris by Doug Fields. Haskell is perhaps best known for creating and directing the 2002 cult hit Road House: The Stage Play at the Barrow Street Theatre. CHIP MEYRELLES (executive producer) Chip Meyrelles (executive producer) has produced theater on and Off Broadway. His credits include The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Bug and Orson’s Shadow. He is the executive director of Art Meets Commerce. DAVID SOLOMON RODRIGUEZ (event producer) David Solomon Rodriguez was venue producer for Nightmare: Face Your Fear in Staten Island in 2006. He was venue producer for Nightmare: Ghost Stories in 2007. His first feature film Urchin (www.UrchinTheMovie.com), written and directed by John Harlacher, was released in June 2007 by Vanguard Cinema reaching #143 on IMDB in its first week. David has produced several theatrical shows including The Jaded Assassin created and directed by Timothy Haskell. JIM GLAUB (associate producer) Jim Glaub (associate producer) moved to New York in 2004 and has worked in marketing, web design and graphics for nearly 10 years. At HHC Marketing, he contributed to the internet marketing campaigns for The Great American Trailer Park Musical and Slava's Snowshow. His successful freelance career includes projects with Bay Bridge Productions, where he was the flash designer for Grey Gardens the Musical and Mimi Le Duck and Late August Design where he designed the website for Lieutenant of Inishmore, and worked on 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, [title of show] and Evil Dead the Musical. As Special Events Coordinator for “Broadway In Chicago” he conceived and implemented several successful event campaigns, including a walking tour of the city's historic theatres. He has also worked with The Second City, The League of Chicago Theatres, Bailiwick Rep, Greta Mae Productions and Hell in a Handbag Productions. LAURIE CONNOR (associate producer) Laurie Connor (associate producer) has been a freelance writer and editor for more than 20 years. Her work has appeared in Robb Report, Traditional Home, FIT Network, University of Florida Today, Skidmore College Scope, Tahoe Area Sierra Club Newsletter, Architectural Digest, Angeles, Westways, and Los Angeles. Her writing and editing clients include the Fashion Institute of Technology, Gensler, HumanScale, Morpheus Lights, Lighting Services, Inc., Storm Design, Miami Design District, The New York Architects and Designers Building, AIDS Project Los Angeles, and Baking with the American Harvest. She is the content manager of Art Meets Commerce, and, with her husband, Chip Meyrelles, has produced Broadway and Off-Broadway hits including The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Bug and Orson’s Shadow. SUMEET BHARATI (assistant to the producers) Sumeet Bharati (assistant to the producers) came to New York three years ago to pursue her interest in music and theatre. A native of Canada, she is an accomplished singer: Her album, Deeper, has a major distribution deal in Japan and her music has been featured on VH1, on Sirius Satellite Radio, and was selected by Nike for use in their stores worldwide and was used by Diane von Furstenberg to introduce her Spring 2006 runway collection. She is also executive assistant at Art Meets Commerce. JAISEN CROCKETT (video design/photography/concept team) Jaisen Crockett (video design/concept team) is a fine art and commercial photographer whose work has appeared in the New York Times, Time Out New York, on Daily Candy, and in numerous galleries, including a one-man show at Center Stage NYC in 2006. Jaisen is also the Director of Photography for Art Meets Commerce. He counts among his inspirations the painters Salvador Dali and Jacques Louis David and fellow photographers Jeff Wall and Taryn Simon. He has a BFA in FIne Arts and Digital Media from the University of South Florida and he served in Aviation Administration in Search and Rescue for the United States Navy from 1992 to 1996. crockett.carbonmade.com PAUL SMITHYMAN (set design) Paul Smithyman (set design) credits with Timothy Haskell include: The Jaded Assassin, Roadhouse; Fatal Attraction; and Nightmare: NYC's Most Horrifying Haunted House. Paul has worked in many New York theatres for the past 13 years in a variety of guises. GARIN MARSCHALL (lighting design) Garin Marschall (lighting design) designed lighting for Nightmare: Face Your Fear in all 5 boroughs. He was nominated for a Drama Desk award for his scenery design for Les Freres Corbusier's Hell House. Recent designs include lighting and scenery for Pulitzer-Prize winner Lawrence Wright's one-man show My Trip to Al-Qaeda, lighting for Dai (Enough), Speak Truth to Power, Amajuba, Guardians, and lighting and scenic design for Staceyann Chin's Border/Clash- all for Culture Project. Other lighting designs include The Internationalist, Mark Smith, and Aphrodisiac all for 13P; Quail, Demon Baby, Crumble, and Jordan Harrison's Amazons and their Men all for Clubbed Thumb; Aphrodisiac for the Longwharf, Liz Swados's Jabu for the Flea; Honor and the River, Bach at Leipzig, Donna Morelli, Big Wyoming, Blue Door, and a workshop of Shanley's Defiance all for New York Stage and Film's Powerhouse Plays '04 and '05; Millicent Scowlworthy and Honor and the River for SPF; Talyor Mac's Red Tide Blooming at P.S.122; Gardzienice's Metamorfozy at LaMama. His designs for dance include collaborations with Terry Creach, Nugent & Matteson, and Tami Stronach for Danspace, Joyce Soho, and National Venues. He studied and has since taught lighting and scenic design at Bennington College.

Upcoming: George Packer's Betrayed for Culture Project. DAVID ANDORA (special effects design) David Andora (special effects) is a resident of Chicago's Uptown neighborhood. He is an award winning production designer, specializing in visual displays for a variety of clients. His expansive creative talent covers a culmination of successful projects, including illusion/special effect design, video production, event planning, lighting design, and visual exhibitions. Some of his most recent design projects include large-scale events for the city of Las Vegas, Crobar nightclub and Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago. Halloween is his annual obsession. davidandora.com AARON HASKELL (prop design/concept team) Aaron Haskell (prop design/concept team) moved to NYC in 2000 with a scholarship to the Ailey School. He has performed nationally and internationally, dancing for Javier Dzul, Christine Suarez, Richard Rivera and Federico Restrepo as well as other directors from La MaMa. Aaron has performed with Timothy Haskell in many shows including:The Jaded Assassin, Roadhouse; Corporate Rock; Lil’ Bro; Fatal Attraction; and the one man show I Love Paris, as Paris Hilton. His paintings can be seen at Lemmons Contemporary in Tribeca. JUSTIN HASKELL (gore design/concept team) Justin Haskell (gore design/concept team) is attending Pratt Institute's Fine Arts program. This is his fourth year as part of the concept team for Nightmare. Other credits include set design for the Off Off Broadway productions Random Particles of Matter Floating Through Space and The Hunt for Treasure at the Abingdon Theatre. As a painter, he has done work for theatre productions, as well as commissioned pieces for individuals. WENDY YANG (costume design) Wendy Yang (costume design) opened her flagship atelier and shop, Maiden Hong Kong, in Williamsburg in the fall of 2005. Other recent endeavors include costume design for The Jaded Assassin, Jennie Liu's Learning in Lower Animals (DTW), Travelers, Tours and One Night Stands and The Emperor Jones (La MaMa), Major Bang or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Dirty Bomb (Foundry Theatre at St. Anne's), Off-Broadway: Fatal Attraction: A Greek Tragedy, Assistant Costume Design and Building for Big Dance Theatre. JOHN HARLACHER (venue director) John Harlacher wrote and directed the feature film Urchin (www.UrchinTheMovie.com), about a homeless boy searching for the paradise hidden in the tunnels under NYC, and distributed by Vanguard Cinema. In September, Urchin was banned in Malaysia as a “threat to culture.” His second film, Kuru, (www.KuruMovie.com) will be released in 2008 by Dissolve Pictures. He recently acted Off-Broadway in NEXT! with the Barefoot Theatre Company, and in the feature film Love Simple. He was the Venue Director of the Staten Island version of Nightmare: Face Your Fear last year, and is proud to be back with Tim and crew.
